Those who are members of the West Georgia church of Christ are seeking to please God according to His revealed will as it is presented in the Bible.

The Apostle Paul encouraged the young evangelist Timothy to “be diligent to show himself approved to God” (2 Timothy 2:15). In this context the approval was on the basis of Bible knowledge. Peter admonished the faithful that they be “always ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope in them” (1 Peter 3:15).

While watching the Winter Olympics from Vancover, Canada I was impressed with the comradery among the athletes. I noticed that the athletes from Israel and the ones from Iran came into the opening ceremony back to back. There appeared to be absolutely no hostility between them even though the countries are considered enemies.
