Those who are members of the West Georgia church of Christ are seeking to please God according to His revealed will as it is presented in the Bible.

Mozele Yearty was an extraordinary person. Most in the small town of Temple Georgia where she lived knew her as a seamstress, but I just called her Maw Maw. For hours I used to sit and watch her sew everything from wedding dresses to three piece suits. In fact I became quite handy with a needle and thread thanks to her patient instruction.

Most of my more than 50 years of preaching the gospel have been in mission areas; in Georgia, Alabama and Ukraine. In the year 1990 the Smyrna, Georgia elders who were supporting Helen and me in Washington, Georgia, a mission area, informed me that they were moving us to Carrollton, Georgia which at that time was considered a mission work. The church in Carrollton was struggling.
